Research Progress of Phosphate Inorganic Binder for High Temperature Resistance

Phosphate inorganic binder plays an important role in many aspects such as repairing, production and joining of material. In the present paper, the characteristic, chemical structure and classification of the phosphate inorganic binder were summarized focusing on formulation binder prescription, performance, applications in the refractory material, paint, ceramics and ceramic composites, military products, mould and so on. It analysed phosphate inorganic binder bonding mechanism from the three areas of machinery, chemistry, physics and pointed out that a phosphate-based binder is developing to an environment-friendly, functional, adhesive-type-specific direction, which will have great value and be widely applied.
