Research on Modified Silver-supported Zirconium Phosphate and Its Antibacterial PE Film
The surface modification of silver-supported zirconium phosphate was carried out by using glycerin monostearate, oleamide and rare earth/aluminic ester as modifiers. The modified effect of silver supported zirconium phosphate was analyzed in terms of hygroscopic property and viscosity. SEM was applied to characterize the dispersion of silver-supported zirconium phosphate in PE matrix, while the mechanical and antibacterial properties of the PE/ silver -supported zirconium phosphate film were tested. The results show that the hydrophobic and scattered uniformity of silver-supported zirconium phosphate modified by oleamide are good. The tensile strength (longitudinal / horizontal) is 23.14/14.25 MPa; elongation at break(longitudinal / horizontal) is 147.9%/ 310.6%; rectangular tear strength is 134.31/ 87.5 0 kN/m; antibacterial rate reaches over 99% when 1.0% by mass of silver-supported zirconium phosphate (modified by oleamide) was added to the PE film.
