Study on antibacterial properties of new mesoporous zirconium phosphate
Mesoporous zirconium phosphate with biomimetic synthesis of the biological template demonstrated good performance by means of characterization tests. Ten species of microorganisms, including Gram-positive bacterial, gram-hegative bacteria and yeast fungi, as the test bacteria. The zone of inhibition test and cell number determination experiments were used experimental methods to investigate the antimicrobial properties of new mesoporous zirconium phosphate, and then the factors that affected its antimicrobial and antibacterial mechanisms were explored. The results showed that mesoporous zirconium phosphate had significant inhibitory effect on the eight of ten kinds of bacterial, but its antibacterial ability to various bacteria represented different. The study stated that mesoporous zirconium phosphate had good broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties, which will have broad application prospects.
