Sorption of Uranium (Ⅵ) Onto Zirconium Phosphate Surface
The sorption behavior of UO2 on two kinds of zirconium phosphate was studied by batch technique. The sorption of U02 on Zr2O(PO4)2, ZrP2O7 is strongly dependent on pH, and weakly dependent on ionic strength at moderate concentration. The experimental results indicate that the sorption behaviors of uranium(VI) on the two kinds of zirconium phosphate are obviously different, and are determined by the sintering temperature and the mole ratio. While in the presence of fulvic acid, the sorption of U0 on Zr2O(PO4)2 at relatively low pH(pH<4.5)is enhanced, however there are no significant influence on the sorption of UO; +on ZrP2 07 in the presence of fulvic acid. It is also very interesting that the effect of catechol, phthalate and salicylate on the sorption of uranium (VI) to Zr2O(PO4)2 and ZrP2O7 is found to be week.
