A kind of polycarbonate (PC) composite with high shock-resistance and modulus was developed with α–ZrP as rigid attrition medium, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE–UHMW) as toughening modifier and PC as matrix material by means of master batch method. The effects of PE-UHMW content and several kinds of inorganic fillers on mechanical properties and microcosmic structure of the composite were investigated. The results show that when the mass fraction of PE–UHMW is 8 phr and α-ZrP is 2 phr, the impact strength and flexural modulus of PC/PE-UHMW/α-ZrP composite reaches the maximum value. Furthermore, the incorporation of α–ZrP is effective to improve the other mechanical properties of composite to a certain extent. The SEM analysis shows that α–ZrP plays a dispersion effect to promote PE-UHMW uniformly disperse in the matrix resin, so the impact performance can be further improved.
